Security with the annual PDL inspection lamp inspection:

This voucher entitles you to inspection of a PDL inspection lamp to ensure accuracy and performance. Our experts will check that the lamp is still emitting the correct brightness (intensity of UV-A light in mW/cm²), but also check the technical condition of the PDL so that you can continue working with confidence.

The PDL has been designed to ensure minimum luminance so that one can work with it without any problems in a cleanroom environment. This minimum brightness has been coordinated with leading companies in the semi-conductor industry (ASML). If the PDL no longer reaches this minimum value, visualisation of particles within the field of view will no longer always be guaranteed and therefore the quality of inspection will be undermined.

Here you can state the order number of your voucher. And then , following the instructions on the form , you can send the PDL to us. Our technicians will accurately measure and inspect your PDL. If the lamp no longer meets specifications, we will advise on the next steps.

Always make sure when you send us a PDL that you attach the request form to the shipment, otherwise we will not be able to process your shipment.

LED vs LEP

The most powerful UV-A and white light torch

The PDL-II POWERLIGHT Series 23 is currently the strongest, most powerful true UV-A and white light flashlight
available on the world market: 25 watt UV-A LED and 5 watt white LED power at your fingertips!
A special dichroic filter is placed in front of the UV-A LEDs, which blocks all other wavelengths.
Only ultraviolet light (UV-A 365nm) passes through this filter. The PDL II was developed jointly with the leading semiconductor tech giant of Europe

UV-A LED- technology

UV-A LEDs have only been on the market for a few years and are still relatively expensive.
As UV-A light is not visible to the human eye, the user can, without a measuring device,
not determine whether the torch actually emits the desired UV-A light.

Many manufacturers use this fact to use inferior – but cheap – blue LEDs in their torches that emit little to no UV-A light.
Instead, these torches emit the visible colours violet and blue.
The result is that the object that is supposed to light up under the influence of UV-A light is not visible to the human eye. As a result, there is less confidence in the technology.

The PDL II was co-developed with Europe's leading tech giant.
