You’re going to replace the glueboard on your insect trap. But how long have your UV lights been in your insect trap? There is still little or no awareness of the fact that UV-A light diminishes over time and as a result lamps are not replaced or are replaced too late. As a result, a flytrap will work less well, if at all.

The maintenance interval for a UV-A Lamp is 1 year. After 1 year, the UV light of your lamp is reduced by 40% on average. A long-life UV lamp has a maintenance interval of 2 years.
